The water leak detector is designed to sense the presence of water and alert a central monitoring system of the potentially destructive situation. The sensor has a low profile and is ideal for small places such as coil drip pans, under cupboards, water tanks, or computer room floors. The transmitter is mounted nearby for accessibility, easy wiring and local reset.
Each water detector is a two-piece device, a sensor and a transmitter. Upon water detection the SPST alarm relays close, and a local red LED illuminates. The transmitter can be set for latching alarm or nonlatching alarm. A local reset switch is available for latching operation.
