Key Account Specialist

This position can be performed in either the Gays Mills or La Crosse office.

Maintains important connections with:

  • Sales Persons and other Sales Staff
  • Product Managers
  • Customer Service Representatives
  • Marketing and Communications Staff, and Visual Director

Position Accountabilities/Deliverables:

    • Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
    • Technical sales support
    • Growth of accounts
    • Provide ideas for new or modified products to meet the needs of current and potential customers
    • Pre-travel plans, post-travel reports, and timeliness on action items
    • Forecast potential for increased sales

      Primary Responsibilities:

        • Develop relationships with potential clients
        • Formulate and propose solutions to meet customer needs
        • Document all customer contacts according to established procedures
        • Monitor personal activity measures such as calls made, customer visits, etc.
        • Work collaboratively with customer service and production to make sure customer needs and requests are met
        • Work with the marketing department to reach out to your customers and inform them of new products and solutions
        • Attend meetings and presentations to offer customers technical training and product support
        • Share with management and staff, as requested, periodic status reports on assigned accounts
        • Be cognizant of representing BAPI at all times while at company events, customer facilities, trade shows, etc.

          Essential Functions:

            • Make contact with customers
            • Make, confirm, and process quotes
            • Travel several times a year
            • Work closely with the sales team
            • Represent BAPI with professionalism, integrity
            • Meet agreed-upon activity goals

              Qualifications

              Required:

              • Ability to comprehend technical products
              • Communication skills
              • Desire to solve problems
              • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
              • Basic computer skills

              Desired:

              • HVAC/R industry experience
              • 3+ years of sales experience
